[vcf-midatlantic] Laugh, it's funny

Last month I shared this story with a few of you privately. Now I've decided it is safe to post. :) During the VCF East planning, I asked Thompson when exactly in 1969 he started working on the disk program that became Unix (cited at 21:25 in this video: https://tinyurl.com/y55g2puu) ... he told me he didn't remember, but "I leave it to you to invent a date." That's a lot of pressure! :)
