Hello! Thomas, I can help with the spray foaming and the tarp hanging. I can probably assist with dragging the racks into place. My only strange concern is with getting to the space from the Belmar train station. Of course there's an even more important one to concern itself with, which is that, well you'll need to contact me off list for, including Jeff. ----- Gregg C Levine gregg.drwho8@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." Hello all!
This is a call for volunteers for the first phase of a plan to improve our warehouse with climate control, insulation, improved security, etc.
We have plans to move our warehouse to another section, but that section isn't ready yet. In the meantime we are planning on doing what we can to secure our existing warehouse section until our new warehouse section is ready.
We were given 5 large portable air conditioners which we used during VCF East 2021 in the consignment room. We plan on using them to help with dehumidification and temperature control in the warehouse. We have other measures that will greatly help with temperature and moisture control as well.
We need able-bodied volunteers to help with: - sealing windows with spray foam to prevent drafts - covering windows with tarps to block light - moving racks within the warehouse to make room for new A/C units - plumbing A/C units into attic
Date and time is Saturday, August 12th at 10:00 AM. Location is Infoage, 2201 Marconi Road, Wall NJ Please shoot me an email to let me know if you'll be attending. Hope to see you here!
