Really, various instant communications technologies and cloud computing is getting most of the attention from technology investors theses days. A lot of people would like to see advanced forms of what we used to call client-server technology do away with the traditional idea of a stand alone personal computer. Because of graphics performance needs, gaming may be one the remaining sectors where that still doesnt work that well. There is a huge trend in gaming towards retro styled games, which might help a little in building the vintage computer hobby. There is also a growing interest in table top games, young people are starting to learn the fun in honest to goodness face to face social interaction. Mike W.
