Indeed. I still have my copy of the Cheap Video Cookbook I got as a teenager, and the TVT 6-5/8 board/kit from it. I built it years ago but never had a KIM-1 to test it on. I fixed that this year so it's on my list of ancient projects to finish.
Semi-randomly, I was just on his website a couple of weeks ago picking up ebooks.
