I am nowhere nearby but my ears perked up at "SGI" and "NeXT". I was thinking about something along the lines of an Indy+IndyCam photo booth demo for VCF-E, and it would be delightful if said granite SGI monitor was already on site. :)
I'll buy the libations of your choice for lugging them around.

Anyone able to hold a few Next and SGI monitors for the club temporarily? i have someone who has them, could probably deliver to you if you're nearby. Sorry to impose, hate to lose the opportunity for someone who might want these. if you're available *this weekend* especially...the guy has them loaded in his car already. Contact me off list. Thanks Bill
I'm in Chantilly VA. I will be going scuba diving tomorrow (Saturday) but will be in/out the rest of Sunday / Monday.
How many monitors? If it's just a few I can probably hold them for a bit. Hopefully Granite SGI monitors :-)
Yes but who will pick them up this weekend? The having is easy, the getting is the problem. I have one SGI-branded monitor and a few NEXT's already, I don't need them myself. I was just there yesterday and took all I could fit. Note - these are the pinnacle of large CRT displays before the LCD came out, they're pretty damn big monitors that not everyone can carry on their own. These are "monitor afficianado" monitors. One is an engineering sample color Next monitor from cube machine. Some are "just" Trinitron's I think. b
