Actually, from what I am reading, additional pollution from the Canadian fires is less than what you would "normally" get in any US urban area. So, if you are in downtown NYC, you will get almost double your "normal" exposure to airborne pollution. But, in Wall, adjacent to the ocean, you will get less than a trip to NYC on a "normal" day.
