All I know about this list is... I don't need to stream the technologically surrealistic NCIS series to pass the time anymore. 😁 I can listen to all these real life technology streams now. On Fri, May 20, 2022, 1:39 PM Jeffrey Brace via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
As Jim Brain said, it was my intention to be personally informed to all the different podcasters, streams, etc. in the vintage computing world and related hobbies. I know about a few of them, but not all of them and certainly not all that I want to know about. The easiest and fastest way for me is to ask others on this list what they know and recommend. I am ignorant of the many sites and continuously forget some and don't know about others. It is helpful for me to make a reference list that I can look at then trying to find something or someone. I want to start exploring these different places to see who they are, what they are talking about and keep updated on what they say and do. As part of the general universe of vintage computing I would like to stay informed, entertained and educated.
It could also help others to know about some channels that they never heard of or didn't know about.
A more specific reason is to possibly invite some of them to our show. I want to evaluate them and the best way to start is to make a list of ones that others know about. Then I will to see what they are all about, whether they are relevant and current in the vintage computing world, etc. I have an idea that I'm exploring for VCF East 2023 and want to do my research before committing to this idea.
