For what it's worth, I looked over the Dayton Microcomputer Association (DMA) Web site and glanced at some of their activities...
They seem to have interests in older computing and microprocessor computing, through their SIG's (subgroups) which meet in several Dayton areas. The club began in the very vintage era (as did I). So there's some overlap among my vintage computing interests. I spent some time in Ohio, and Dayton is the location of world's largest hamfest (and one of the oldest-active hamfests).
My first Dayton Hamvention was 1982 and in the 1990s, DMA ran the Dayton Computer Convention in the same space (all indoors though, no outside flea market). DMA always had a history exhibit at their own event with multiple wire-rack shelves like the VCF Museum setup, but intended to be transportable. I'm just 90 min away but there's not a lot of reach into Central Ohio. DMA has kind of always done their own thing in their own area. Not a denigration, just an observation that they work locally. So, mosly just a couple comments that I've seen them and some of the stuff they've done around here in the past 30-40 years. -ethan
