Hi Andrew, yes, that's me! I think you mean a Palm TX, right? They were very nice. I may argue that the Clie NX60 was 'peak clie' - the 'star trek communicator' form factor with the keyboard on the lower half and the screen on top, reversible, etc - they were great (i have an NX60) The N810s were extremely nice. I have two N770's (here's my writeup on them: https://planet-geek.com/2019/08/16/vintagehandhelds/nokia-n770-linux-tablet/ ) but would love the N810 for the 'next step' I have a Zaurus SL5500, the 5600 IIRC isn't much different... they're wonderful machines. I was active in the Zaurus community (helped run the Zaurus Software Index). Having a linux machine in my hand that I could ssh into over wifi was amazing. Honestly, I'd be ecstatic to add your gear to my collection. I love bringing these machines to shows and letting people play around with how things were before iPhones took over the world :) On Sun, Jan 30, 2022 at 1:37 PM Andrew Diller <dillera@gmail.com> wrote:
Are you the Handheld guy that also exhibits the Handhelds at VCFE? If so, I donated some stuff to you back in 2019 East.
I noticed I have some things I will prob never use and would part with that are not on your list, but also not on your wish list...
- Palm TC - always felt like Peak palm, with wifi and super fast cpu - Clie PEG-Tg50u - also felt like peak clie to me, i like the tall form-factor - HP OmniGo 100 - just wierd - Nokia N810 - again, peak nokia (see a trend?) much faster than 770 and works on modern wifi (1 hour of use) - Zaurus SL-5600 - with wifi card and linux installed

I also have a Psion 5x.

Hi everyone, new to the list - I'm hoping to make it to the swap meet on Feb 26th, and I'm wondering if folks have a few things I'm looking for...
* AT&T 3b1 / 7300 / UnixPC hardware - looking for an actual 3b1, but also for boards and media. * AT&T 605 terminal(s) * Nothern Telecom Displayphone (hah, unlikely, but I want to toss it out there) * DEC terminals - specifically any VT2x+ terminals (Have several VT100's already) * DEC micro- hardware. Talking microvax, micropdp11, and Pro350 - specifically the 'under desk vertical cased' machines * DEC VK100 / GIGI terminal (a barco monitor with it would be amazing)
More traditionally * TRS-80 Model III and Model 1 hardware * Non-bulky ascii terminals (altos terminals would be wonderful)
And, because I'm the Handheld guy, any handheld computers. My wishlist / current collection is here: https://planet-geek.com/vintage-handheld-computers/
I have to offer: * Osbourne 1 * Kaypro 2, Kaypro 4, maybe a Kaypro 10? * Several HP calculators * Coleco Adam complete
Looking forward to seeing folks...
