I just got a tiny68k board and it uses a Compact Flash card. Are there adapters from Compact Flash to SD card?
I'm not aware of one but it is my understanding that the CF interface is IDE (I think PIDE).
IDE is one of the things a CF card can emulate directly; it can also act directly as a PCMCIA memory card. It's a great standard, and it's easy to interface to parallel buses, which is why it's popular on older embedded machines. Any CF to SD adaptor would have to replicate quite a bit of functionality because SD/MMC is a fundamentally serial interface with a wholly different protocol. Fortunately, small ones are quite cheap now (and you probably don't need a large one). - Dave
