I use a JVC Video Monitor that can do NTSC and PAL and has video (RCA jack) and s-video in for all my 8-bits with component or s-video (chroma/luma). I use it with a PAL C64, a NTSC C64, a NTSC Atari 800, and other computers with no problems and really great image quality. The specific model is a JVC TM-H150CG. Mine is from 2/2007 so hopefully should last a little while. Better than to try to get 80s monitors to work. Got it used on eBay. Best, Thomas

Not if it is a US version.
So what can I do to display a PAL C64?

Can anyone confirm that I can use a Commodore 1084S monitor to display a Pal C64? I finally got around to converting my C64 to PAL, but my LED monitor doesn't seem to work with PAL.
