Hello! I agree. I mean I have both books here, plus his TV Typewriter cookbook, and also the TTL one, and the Active Filter Cookbook. In fact the TV Typewriter cookbook copy I own is the same one keeping its namesake company in the museum. I found his style of writing to be easy to follow and quite useful. For example I'd reach for that TTL cookbook for a preset collection of part numbers before I would find the datasheets for them. An example was for the ALU the SN74181 part. Jeff some sort of memorial needs to be put in the museum by both. Oh and the two velociraptors are taking the holiday off and will be back on Wednesday. ----- Gregg C Levine gregg.drwho8@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." He was a legend. I have his seminal book on the shelf.
Indeed. I still have my copy of the Cheap Video Cookbook I got as a teenager, and the TVT 6-5/8 board/kit from it. I built it years ago but never had a KIM-1 to test it on. I fixed that this year so it's on my list of ancient projects to finish.
Semi-randomly, I was just on his website a couple of weeks ago picking up ebooks.
