It’s new so we won’t have to worry about the glue in the particle board which could actually contain some “bad” stuff.

I just saw one at the local thrift store two weeks ago and chuckled.
They're probably more common than the computers we're after.
We had the Bush Industries one. I still think it's kinda cool looking but got rid of it like 14 years ago.
