That's incredible, be sure to update us with your downtimes!
I doubt the list has sufficient bandwidth for that! ;)
On a serious note, I see the downsides of ME as on OS, but there really isn't anything that prevents you from using it as a daily offline machine. I have found that it's quite a pleasant experience to just use the computer and not get bombarded with all the ewaste licenses of modern "Advances in technology"
Eh There's plenty that prevents ME from using ME (or any other Windows) as an OS, offline or otherwise, or anything else that involves that licensing BS. I have actual work to do and am not a patient person. In the morning when my alarm goes off, the first thing I do is grab my phone and check the surveillance cameras to make sure the world is still out there, then check my mail. When I first read Jeff's 4/1 joke, I wasn't quite functional yet and hadn't processed the date. It was...alarming. :) He really got me this time. -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ New Kensington, PA
