Francis Upton – Electric Lighting Pioneer
On Sunday, April 6th at 2PM, hear about Francis R. Upton, a 19th Century physicist who helped Thomas Edison turn astonishing ideas into world changing industries. A Princeton PhD, Upton provided theoretical backing for some of Menlo Park’s breakthrough inventions. He designed the first power distribution grid around the Pearl Street Station in Manhattan.
