A really good hot air station I can recommend is the Quick 861DW. It's used by professionals in the repair industry. Just beware of counterfeit units out there.

I'm looking to get a hot air rework station for the CDL. I don't need the best but I
do want to get a decent station. Any recommendations? Is used a good idea or would it
just be a good idea to get new?

This was triggered by me having a Microbox II retro board order. Seems the parts are
really fine like grains of ground pepper. I think I'm gonna need a bigger magnifier!
