Have 1960s cars ever gone down in price since the late 80s ? :(. On Fri, Jun 3, 2022, 11:15 AM Ethan O'Toole via vcf-midatlantic < vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:
Interesting to see where it ends up at. I've been wondering if the collectable markets are going to cool off with the downturn of stock, crypto and general unease of potentially heading into a recession. Wealth effect cools when the easy gains evaporate be it bootycoin or home values.
Right now everything is hot, from video games to pinball machines to synthesizers to whatever. But I feel like it hit a plateau and things are starting to drop. I see people chopping prices on some high end stuff (drum machines, maybe pinballs) like they are preparing to run for the exits. I know the last items I sold on reverb I kept prices below others for quick sale, would rather exit fast instead of chasing market down.
Can only tell when it is in the rear view.
