By the way Commodore still make the 64 up until it's demise. It started and stopped production 5 times because of the demand. Can you point to any other computer that did the same?
That's amazing. the 64 was the 3rd computer I ever programmed. Started on an Apple ][+, then ][e, then the 64. All about the same year. Not the same at all, but the TRS80 Model 4 wasn't discontinued until into the 90s. Its last appearance in the catalog was in 1990, but it could be ordered until 1991 or 92 (not sure of the exact date). Weird huh.
