I’ve seen C64s getting repaired EVERY repair day I’ve been to this year! It seems like the one constant that gets worked on :) -andy

Gents-
My son is working on a garage sale Commodore 64 that starts up and produces the standard blue C-64 background screen, but shows a bunch of random characters instead of the normal boot up. We're told that this might indicate a bad RAM chip and that a diagnostic test cartridge might reveals which chip is bad. Would anyone good with Commodore and attending on Saturday (24 AUG) be willing to bring along one of that and help us run a test?
Thx!
