OK. Perhaps they just meant it was a similar kind of panel-  switches and lights.
I read the wiki stuff ahead of buying it and am excited about the space flight ground work MODCOMP was in.
Anyhoo, if there might be any documentation on how the interconnect works that would be a great help.
Later I guess I'll also be looking for the MODCOMP archetecture.
I'm seeing no interweb hits on "modcomp emulator" so I guess there isn't much work ahead of me.
