Rereading your message, I now see that you have a different board. The "X Golden Turbo" was in mine.
One thing to note is that the "banks" of memory (in my board, anyway) are different. The first two banks (closest to the slots) are 41256. The other two banks are 4164, for a total of 640K on the board.
As to DOS version, I don't know, but the "current" version when the machine was sold was MS-DOS 2.11. 3.0 was released a little later, so it's also a possibility.

I am working on a very early PCs Limited box with the "ARC Turbo Board" motherboard. There are probably a few marginal RAM chips on the board, the ROM is customized for the vendor.
I did find a motherboard layout with jumpers, but no error codes. I am getting an "X Turbo System Error # 04" upon boot, and when I hit enter the system falls into regular mode. It may be RAM it may be the 8088-2. I will work to fix but having a manual or diagnostic would be nice
