There are two different Row spacings out in the wild.
As Bill showed here already. I recall the wider spec was originally intended for wire-wrap backplanes, but they also sold the solder pin variety. This place has the the skinny variety ?.? It's become a popular source for the retro projects in the S-100 group. ? ? I used them to make another ? ? of their retro ? ? backplane projects. This ? ? says ? ? it's 0.24" Row spacing, only $3.95?

Thanks Dan, but I've determined that it's definitely the wider (0.250") size.
?I thought the wider row spacing was ?even more.
I don't have this type here, maybe Bill can measure those he bought the other year. and I think that was a typo on Anchor Electronics, either 0.24" or 0.25" was the skinny variety Dan
According to this, Altair uses 0.140" row spacing and IMSAI uses 0.250" row spacing:
oh yea, I should've looked inside my 680 again and noticed the difference :)
