in May and June of this year I got 2 "Digest" emails from the phantom MARCH group.
Someone accidentally emailed the old group. I responded by removing all subscribers except for myself. That way the group will stay online (for its message archive, which is public) but nobody can post to it. Now and then someone tries joining it. I refer them to the new group (even though its address is posted in three places on the old group public info page...)
