Actually it was the repair work done by the power company for Sandy that caused the failure in the next storm.
Actually it was the lack of maintenance by infoage. Distribution systems should be serviced per NETA guidelines - that's why power is cheaper per Kh / hr when purchased at 13.2 kv. The customer is paying for the purchase and upkeep of the distribution system, not the utility company .
