I’m building a vintage CPU board and want to get an old-school large crystal. HC-49s I’ve got, so I need one of the older style that are larger. Wire leads are preferable but beggars can’t be choosers.
If you have one and are willing to part with it, email me privately.
There are two different packages like the one you describe: HC-6/U and HC-33/U. The former has pins, like for use with a socket, and the latter has wires for direct soldering. I have one of the former style of the frequency you require. You can solder to the pins, but they're not really very flexible if your intention is to mount it horizontally to the PCB. If this one will help you, let me know and it's yours. Perhaps amusingly, I found it in my "random crystals" box and it was likely put in there when I was a kid in the 1970s...so I've had it for a looooong time. ;) -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ New Kensington, PA
