If, when booting the Kickstart, you get the Workbench request screen, then Kickstart is good. We might have a number of Workbench disks in the museum. Maybe even some Kickstart disks. I can help look for them next weekend. We can probably ask Ian if his disk imager can produce either one of them. The museum's Amiga 1000 boot disks appear to be not working. I'm not sure if it is the Kickstart or the Workbench disk . We usually used Ver 1.3. Not sure if Ver 1.2 works on that machine too.
