Martin, Looks like a good option -- it does specifically say it's soldering iron resistant :P I'm not sure what manufacturers the various ESD mats I've used were made by, but they all looked like that. Made in USA is a definite plus, ought to actually meet spec. FWIW, most of our new-bought ESD products come from Correct Products. They're the only insertion grade static dissipative foam vendor I've found that I really really like the quality on the foam.
