This is how I earned my living in the mid-80s through late-90s, so I have a bit of background with DEC and Sun gear.
I was working for a CAD VAR from 1988 - 1994. I started on a Sun 3/60 around 1990, then used most every Sun workstation through the SPARC 10 and finally an Ultra 10 at the university.
