She's a bit of a celebrity, plus the whole "hard-core tech girl" aspect of things. I really don't blame her for staying low-profile; she'd probably end up getting cornered by tech guys and not have been able to enjoy the event.
Yeah, that was my thinking as well. Between that and never having met her, I avoided saying anything to indicate I recognized who she was. Based on the video, I get the sense that they enjoyed their visit, and that's the important part. BLS
