That was a fun day! Got there really early to finish up my exhibit. Bill Inderrieden came around 12:30 to help me out. Dylan came for docent duty around 1PM. Corey came at 1:30 with his son Ben to be my cameraman.
The 2PM exhibitor ran late because they got Zoom-bombed and then had various technical difficulties with that exhibit. So I started late with my 80's bedroom exhibit, yet I still had some extra time for Corey to do a brief tour of the museum. If we had the full hour, then we could have done a longer tour.
At 5PM I did the C64 Capsela robot. Bill Inderrieden had helped me finish it up. Unfortunately, the transmission part didn't work and we couldn't find a working replacement, so no steering, but the drive wheels worked. I demonstrated it in a stationary position. I was able to find the software that I had modified to control the robot with a joystick. I had some extra time, so I showed off the C128 with GEOS 128 and the 1541 Ultimate II on a Commodore 1902 monitor which I had gotten working when the museum was shutdown March, April and May.
It was a lot of fun and I was glad that I was *just* an exhibitor and not running the show. All of us had a lot of fun. I hope that I will be able to go to the World of Commodore in person next year!
