Thinnet (10Base 2) was the stuff I was thinking of when mentioning the Ts.

Fun fact: it's electrically compatible, assuming your segment is under the length restrictions of 10BASE-2. You can literally put a BNC to N conversion in and run it like that. You can even get BNC "taps" to plug into old thicknet MAUs! Thanks, Jonathan
