Has anyone read Introduction to the History of Computing: A Computing History Primer
Gerard O'Regan. Looking for opinions before I try to get this to read.
Never heard of the book. Related, Jim Sheef suggested to me a long time ago that I read "A History of Modern Computing" by Paul Ceruzzi. I got this book and read it. It's very good as a survey of computer history and does a great job telling the story of how things unfolded through to the end of the 20th century. It's a book you'd want to read more than once. I would also recommend Ceruzzi's book. When I taught computer history at the U of Delaware I recommended it to students if they asked me for a good general computer history book. Bill
