In a vacuum, I absolutely love it, but "stepping on consignment" is a real concern as commission paid on sales is a not insignificant source of operating revenue for the Fest. I understand that attendees trade on the side/sly, friend to friend, and I'll admit I've made a parking lot sale or three over the years. Deals between friends is fine and normal and cool and will always happen, but a publicly available organized system that effectively encourages the diversion of income from the Fest at scale seems like a capital-B, capital-I, Bad Idea. -Steve On Wed, Feb 11, 2026 at 7:01 AM <vcf-midatlantic-request@lists.vcfed.org> wrote:

I love the idea. My concern would also be "stepping on consignment" but as an attendee & prospective consumer I love it!
