This was the first time I actually taught a class, as opposed to simply talking about a specific subject for a session. I was surprised at the interest in the classes. I was even more surprised at the level of interest in the Commodore 64 Assembly classes. I think every seat was full in every class. At the end of one of the advanced classes, one of the students came up to me and talked about her involvement in using 65XX based architecture for writing programs that work on the NES and N64. I guess people still use this architecture for fun in many ways. I also had people ask if there was more being taught on Commodore 64 Assembly. I mentioned that one hour blocks of time aren't much time to convey any more than practical examples of Assembly language programming. So I started a YouTube video series for class members to follow up with at their own pace, where I use the same tools and goals to teach additional programming concepts. They are not highly produced in any way, just a continuous recording that builds a small program on the fly. I actually had fun making those myself. I like passing on knowledge like that. Thanks for sharing that Jeff! This is one of the main reasons that I go through the headache of running this show: to deliver happiness to those who come to the show in many ways. To see everyone connecting and socializing. In my opinion, that's the essence of the show, a festival, a coming together of like minded individuals to share, celebrate and enjoy all that we have in common.
I can see that you have received the festival spirit and spread it to others!

I met up with folks I know from so many other groups/associations/groups
- David from Unigroup (NYC's oldest Unix/Linux user group) http://unigroup.org/ - Murph from NJ Linux https://www.meetup.com/NJLinux/ - Chris Liendo, Brian Cirulnick, Saul Trabal from the NY anime club https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Cartoon/Fantasy_Organization - many members of the anthropomorphic community
I'm VCF's unofficial tummler ( https://www.wordnik.com/words/tummler ), schmoozing with everybody ( https://www.collinsdictionary.com/us/dictionary/english/schmooze ). I did my best to be a catalyst to great conversations among folks and direct them to things they'd enjoy. I had lotsa one-on-one quality time with everyone, particularly those I helped load their cars.
Everyone saw me delivering heavy items all around. It's hard to be serious when using a genuine Radio Flyer little red wagon https://www.radioflyer.com/shop/all-terrain-wagons.html
Believing that few things are truly "off topic", I had toys for kids in the free pile (and saw very happy kids playing with them), and sold a lot of the Playable Metal toys (Tinkertoy for big kids).
This is my 10th year of printing the exhibitor/vendor signs (since 2014). I hope they made all the exhibitors & vendors feel welcome and appreciated.
