It is spring loaded, so it can pop out. -----Original Message----- From: vcf-midatlantic [mailto:vcf-midatlantic-bounces@lists.vcfed.org] On Behalf Of David Gesswein via vcf-midatlantic Sent: Thursday, May 12, 2022 4:34 PM To: vcf-midatlantic <vcf-midatlantic@lists.vcfed.org> Cc: David Gesswein <djg@pdp8online.com> Subject: Re: [vcf-midatlantic] Help shipping ASR-33 from Allentown On Thu, May 12, 2022 at 04:22:11PM -0400, William Sudbrink via vcf-midatlantic wrote:
Make absolutely sure that the printing unit is screwed down. Otherwise you will end up with a shattered plastic cover. The printing unit "floats" in normal operation. Also, have the shipper remove the H-Plate and put it in an envelope or something so that it does not get lost.
