Seems to me it’s very inconvenient to keep moving the stuff around every time, every six months, To save money and to get that “introductory rate”. When I had my television shop (and after I closed it ) I had storage units, two of them, for the better part of 10 years. I just said one day they have to go and got rid of it all. Yes, my basement and garage are now full. But I’m still looking for storage for my car! Now I’m looking to get rid of the stuff in my garage, all of my computer stuff for the most part! I will have a lot of stuff at the swapmeet, I hope the weather is good! Mike R. Sent from: My extremely complicated, hand held electronic device.

I don’t have that good of a rate.
I have been using Extra Space Storage for a few years now. It was reasonable at the beginning. Prices keep going up. I’m not liking it. Jeff Jonas seems to think that if you move to a new space within the same building, then you can get the “new tenant” rate. So you would keep shifting around once every 6 months or so. I will find out. Mine keep going up. I want to move one of my units closer to the other one anyway, but may just consolidate into one. I’ve been procrastinating the consolidation.
I haven’t priced the smaller storage companies yet.

So I recently got storage in NJ because storage in NYC is just too expensive. I wasn't there a year and they greatly increased price. I have a 5x12 and I went from $97 to $156. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good storage company that is not that expensive?
