I actually have a portable mini player/recorder that uses the 1GB Hi-MD disc. I only have one disc and finding them cheap is impossible. I figured it could be used like a cassette recorder, but would be saving audio to disc.
Oh wow, pretty cool! You should still be able to run the older 130MB normal MD discs in there and record programs to that? For the Timex Sinclair there is a program that can software generate WAV files of data. Not sure about Atari and C64 and other systems. I love that disco jam that is on the old Atari tapes. I might never remember all the States and Capitals, but I'll remember that sweet intro tune while the game loaded. - Ethan
