The ebay listing states that it was sold from Seattle, Washington
From the ebay page " typically ship next day after payment is received. Items will be securely packed with plenty of padding. Free local pickup in the Seattle, WA area is also welcome. "
Also the ebay page is quite detailed, not like the craigslist page. On Thu, Feb 6, 2025 at 10:44 AM Dave Shevett <shevett@pobox.com> wrote:
Is it a scam though? The CL listing is 17 days old. The ebay listing said it sold on Jan 26th. Cloud just be the person listed in multiple places.
Granted one is in NY and one is in Seattle. I see a lot of scams, this one isn't necessarily a slam dunk. Could still be someone scamming. I'd reach out to the NY guy and ask if it was still available. If he says yes, then BADINK! We have a scammer!

So I saw this come up and I thought this was kind of an odd price for this. $200 seemed cheap

I thought it might be fake so I wanted to do some research
For giggles, I decided to just see what they were going for and found this:

Same pictures
Same serial number
Out of all the things I thought people would scam over, vintage computers was not that one thing
