Dana makes some pretty convincing edits of vintage computer photos, ones that fool those on the fringes of the hobby. Every so often, I find folks that genuinely take the bait of her work, and have to be told that something isn't real, so I do my best to turn that into a good learning opportunity. There are some great what-ifs sprinkled in with the obvious silliness. It reminds me of how photos of that series of Apple mock-up systems by Hartmut Esslinger (I think that's the designer) get circulated once in awhile. Plenty of people think they were functional prototypes rather than concepts made from foam with fake screenshots glued on. -Alexander 'Z' Pierson
