My MFM emulator can read the disk if its alive. I'm not sure if the Pro controller does the remapping other controllers like the RQDX3 do which make the disk sector image not the same as what the Pro software sees.
I have a different disk format for the 350 & 380 so the disk format is different than RQDX# controllers the 11's use.

That's very interesting. I have a PDP 11/73 here with an RD53 in it. The Pros ran POS, which was a variant on RSX-11M. I may be able to help, but my system isn't up to speed yet. If the timing is tight, I probably can't help, but if he's willing to take a long shot at it, I can talk with them once my system is up and running.

Someone is looking to extract data from a Micropolis "1325D", which came from a DEC Pro-380. He is unsure of its internal condition. It has not run for many years, possibly a decade or two. He is still working on getting the computer itself online, and would like to get the hdd dumbed if possible.
Anyone have any experience with this?
I will find out where he is located.
