[vcf-midatlantic] is there any way to archive / read Facebook offline?

I understand this circumvents Facebook's revenue model but I need a way to archive (or at least take a snapshot) of a facebook group's page. My google-fu is lacking: I found no stand alone utility, web site or browser plugin. Any clues or hints? Doing a "save page" resulted in a page that does not render properly.
