How about Charles Brannon of Compute! Magazine?
Being serious this time. I can't really answer Evan's question about poss speakers until we have some kind of framework for the event itself. Evan talked about a team exhibit containing every Commodore computer model this year, is this still the plan? Will there be more teams/exhibit groups? If Commodore is going to be emphasized it would make sense to go heavy on the Commodore speakers and that makes Charles Brannon a good choice. Are there any historical milestones (40 years ago 1977 lots happened then, 50 years ago 1967 a bit more challenging...60....). I think once there is a loose structure you can approach speakers with a reason why they'd be important to the event's success, easier to get the speaker if you have a purpose behind his talk beyond generic we are into "old computers" and you remind us of old computers hey speak at out event! b
