Yes. As the docent found some software crashed which is likely due to incompatibility.
Some stuff, especially after 1986, requests FAST RAM, which will crash an unexpanded A1000. It was a problem back then too. The program might not need more than 512K total, but the programmer made a request specifically for FAST RAM when there was none, so you got a Guru Meditation. -ethan
