Christian, Yes, I was definitely part of the problem! 1. I encouraged spontaneous feedback/questions 2. I did not identify the questioner. 3. I did not wait for the mic to get to the audience member before answering. Sorry for all of the above, and especially sorry to you personally if you were stuck with my presentation. Looking for a way to make this better without making it harder on the show volunteers ... Maybe we suggest that the speakers bring an additional mic runner person with them to help out? More mics? And ask the audience to pass them? Or how about making the presenters volunteer as a mic runner *before* their presentation? -Crawford On Tue, Jun 4, 2024, 10:31 AM Christian Liendo <cliendo@gmail.com> wrote:
I was a mic runner. And honestly it was very difficult because the speakers wouldn't work with me.
I would search for people to raise their hand and be there with the mic and the speaker would pick someone else and I would try and run there but it wouldn't be in enough time.
I did a pre-presentation talk but it didn't help.

1) Get mic runners to ask people to speak into the microphone. 2) Remind speakers to repeat the question.
