They are completely different and operate on completely different principles. The SyQuest disks are simply removable rigid metal hard disk platters. Bernoulli cartridges use flexible floppy disk like media and non-contact heads - they don't touch due to the Bernoulli principle, hence the name. I have several working Bernoulli 90 drives, I used them for *years*.
