I watched their trailer. This show will not be a hit unless i missed something huge. The 3D is really really really poor (even by shows produced on Commodore Amiga standards). The greenscreened in backgrounds are weak even by daytime news standards. The acting was pretty weak. It can be saved, maybe, if the script writing is good. Big maybe though. Their only claim to fame seems to be 'we are not Hollywood and this is not a rework of a previous thing', Also far as I am aware the IMSAI from Wargames, though put up for auction for gobs of money on its 'fame', had not sold for those gobs. So WTF Is Absynthia
From their KickStarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1426283174/steampunk-sc ience-fiction-tv-pilot "Sick of Hollywood remakes and a lack of original ideas? Well Absynthia is a new original idea with strong female characters, the men who love them (who have secrets of their own), AND a drama to rival all dramas!" They have a Twitter account as well. https://twitter.com/AbsynthiaRyan
This could make the computers worth more if the show is a hit? Like the screen-used IMSAI from WarGames?
