Even a more capable QBus system like the 11/73 doesn't approach $10K -- and you usually get some sort of storage in the chassis, too! One could draw the same comparison to lights-and-switches S100 systems vs turnkey boxes. Several kilobux for any big-name front panel machine, several hundred dollars for a (non-Altair, non-IMSAI, non-NorthStar) S100 box with no programmer's front panel. Thanks, Jonathan
