Hello! I have it right here on DVD, and in print, twice. That creep did shoot first and missed, and Han promptly blasted him, and got into an argument with Jabba over it. And Jabbba's minions owe that friend four hundred credits..... ----- Gregg C Levine gregg.drwho8@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again."

Hello! No he did not. Greedo shot first and missed badly. (I know someone who was there.) I'll support both versions of Tron.
I do not support RetCon! It was the Wild West so Han must defend himself however he can! George Lucas got soft in his old age. He lost his seat of his pants attitude of Episode IV and V. Sell out with Episode VI and I.

My son and I watched the original Star Wars episode IV on our CED last month. Occasional video noise but no skips. The best version, where
Han
shoots first!

I’d be interested in seeing a top-of-the-line CED for sure.
If I can come to Festivus I’ll lug the box set and a LD player with a decent HDMI upscaler. :)

No, The LaserDisc box set special edition includes extras like a short behind the scenes of filming, the trailers and some other extras, the only real “different edit” is a section of the Light Cycle game with the original fully electronic score as the orchestral score was still being recorded at that time.
As for the CED, if it’s in good condition it should not skip that much and people I know who worked on CED says it was the best looking master and disc they ever put out, for anything from film.
