I wrote that, my apologies. It looked to me that, rather than being stacked in some barn, full of mouse nests (and worse), the equipment had been well organized and kept in a temperature and moisture controlled environment. And that, to some degree, it was cared for. Given that, I thought that it was possible that this person was someone that might be known in the collector community. This is worrying! Is there some test that can be taken to determine ‘collectorness’ vs ‘hoarderness’??
p.s. for myself I may need professional help and/or medication to understand why I keep "collecting" floppy drives :(
