As Evan has mentioned, I'm working on inventorying the video game section of the warehouse and reducing redundancies. Rest assured we already have at least 3 copies of the below cartridges in the warehouse and we really don't need to have any more than that. It seemed best to offer the extra cartridges to the membership at large and I'll be at the workshop (I don't need a table, hi Jeff!) and we are happy to give them to a good home with a member free of charge.
Thanks Adam. All -- As I told Adam, I am * shocked * that our 2600 cartridges have so few duplicates. I thought there would be dozens of duplicates! Adam's going to spend additional time sorting through the rest of our console collection. When finished, the current three shelving units of console "stuff" will be neatly organized into one unit each of cartridges, systems, and accessories. We've been planning to put one of the 2600s into the museum workshop for docents to use during down time. Now I am thinking we should put several systems there, because more is better than one. :) These are NOT for general play by museum visitors (maybe someday).
